Inside the Beamish Town Print Works
Downstairs in this building is the Sunderland Daily Echo and Northern Daily Mail branch office, and a stationer’s shop set out as it would have been around 1913. Upstairs is the printer’s shop, fully operational, using original metal type-setting and ink presses, still in daily use to print many of Beamish Museum's notices used around the site.
