Salts Mill
The entrance and former office block for Salts Mill, situated below Victoria Road. Salts Mill was a woollen mill completed in 1853 designed by local architects Francis Lockwood and Richard Mawson for industrialist Titus Salt, and at the time was the largest factory in the world. It closed in 1986 and now houses an art gallery, shopping centre and restaurant complex as well as offices. The entrance block and main building are separately grade II* listed - for this section see LinkExternal link.
