Parish Roll of Honour
Parish Roll of Honour
This roll of honour in the tower is to the men of the parish who lost their lives in World War I.
Parish Church of St Nicolas, Newbury
St Nicolas Church is the parish church of Newbury, and is situated just south of the main bridge over the River Kennet, in the centre of the town. It is chiefly remarkable for the consistency of its Perpendicular Gothic architectural style and its unusually large size for a parish church.
Founded in Norman Times, most of the present building is 16th century.
