SO9973 : Twatling Road, Barnt Green

taken 2 years ago, near to Barnt Green, Worcestershire, Great Britain

Twatling Road, Barnt Green
Twatling Road, Barnt Green
This is the bottom of Twatling Road; Linthurst Road is straight ahead, Fiery Hill Road leads off to the left and Shepley Road to the right. Barnt Green was a product of the railway age - there was no village here before the railway was built, but serious development began after the First World War. Although separated from the Birmingham conurbation by green belt land, it is really an upmarket suburb with a significant concentration of very large (and of course very expensive) houses.
