Great Central Railway - moment of truth
Great Central Railway - moment of truth
The Travelling Post Office has deposited two mail bags in the net on the ground in the centre and is now picking up two mailbags hanging from the device to the left. One bag is already enveloped by the net and the second bag (seen on the left and held in position by white string at the bottom)is just about to be engulfed. A split second later both are safely held and the train is on its way. This was after 16:00 hours with the ISO at 6400 and motor drive engaged. Although the picture would not stand enlarging it is fine at Geograph size and I'm very pleased to have grabbed this moment.
