This grade II listed building LinkExternal link was built in 1838 as a Wesleyan Methodist chapel. Additions were made to the building in 1885-6. Around 1955-60 it became a Pentecostal Church run by the Assemblies of God and was known as City Church Preston SD5429 : City Church Preston. That church has since relocated to premises at Preston North End Football Club and the building has been converted into City Mosque Preston.
