Tree above Sgŵd Clun-gwyn
The link path down to the foot of the Sgŵd Clun-gwyn waterfall
Link passes this impressive specimen on top of a cliff. What appears as little figurines hanging from the branches are in fact people on a ledge above the waterfall and on a rocky platform just below it, both on the opposite side of the Afon Mellte. The top of the main step of the waterfall can be seen just to the left of the tree trunk. Sgŵd is a south-Walian word for waterfall, with rhaeadr and pistyll more common elsewhere.
