I don't know what is going on with the Yew avenue. The care of it seems to be getting far worse. Most of them look like a youth's haircut right now, trimmed below stepladder height.

Unique Yew Tree Avenue of around 150 clipped Yew trees, estimated to be over 200 years old, that formed part of the carriage drive to Clipsham Hall. The trees are clipped into a variety of shapes and symbols including AA for Amos Alexander, the first estate Head Forester who began clipping the Yews in 1870 and FC for Frank Cornell who began restoration of the avenue in 1955.
