Almonry Croft and The Almonry, High Street, Ely
Grade I Listed and part of a range of buildings including The Old Sacristy, Sacrist's Gate and Goldsmith's Tower. The poor were fed in the undercroft dating from about 1200. The Almonry is late 12th century and the upper storey originally contained a school, chambers for the Sacrist and Chaplain, dormitories and a chapel at the east end.
