Sparrow Park, Macclesfield
Sparrow Park, Macclesfield
Formally Bunkers Hill, but known by locals as Sparrow Park because of its diminutive size. Its value as a viewpoint across the Bollin valley has been much reduced by the growth of trees on the hillside. It was presented to the town as a memorial to Francis Dicken Brocklehurst JP who died in 1905.
