Saturday Market, Beverley, Yorkshire
Looking from the Market Cross towards Nos.14 to 27 Saturday Market, known as the Dings or Butterdings. The name Dings perpetuates that of the archbishop's hall that stood on the site in the Middle Ages. The entire row was built as a speculation in the 1750s.
