Chain Reaction sculpture in Campbell Park
Chain Reaction sculpture in Campbell Park
Chain Reaction was commissioned in 1992 to celebrate the end of the first phase in Milton Keynes’ creation as a new city. Artist Ray Smith was sponsored by many of the original developers and their vision is reflected in the sculpture’s themes of interdependence and aspiration, firmly rooted in the ground. It was designed to be viewed from every angle, and the two figures that make up the column are links in the same endless chain.
