These are the inlet sluices to the Gilbert, Gilkes and Gordon 11 horsepower water turbines that drove triple throw ram pumps to supply drinking water to the locality. The inlet channel is silted and it is obvious the plant hasn't run for some time. The pumps are visible through the windows
