Peter Pan's Pool
Peter Pan's Pool
This is the remains of a former boating lake and children's pleasure garden on the Ravensbourne River. It was opened in about 1923 and is said to be the first attraction ever named after J.M Barrie's creation. When giving permission for the use of the name Barrie requested that any profits from the enterprise should be donated to great Ormond St Children's Hospital. The site is now occupied by a certain DIY store.
