SD7705 : Ringley Road Station

Ringley Road Station
Ringley Road Station
This was the second station north on the Lancashire and Yorkshire Railway Clifton Junction to Accrington and Bacup line. The platform still appears to be in a reasonable condition despite the fact that nobody has stood on it waiting for a train for over 68 years.
A pair of comfortable, solid stone benches are provided for people to sit on and take a breather. Pleasant in summer. Winter, no.
