River Truim at Wade Bridge
The River Truim rises in the Pass of Drumochter, flowing along Glen Truim close to the A9 road and Perth-Inverness railway, before joining the River Spey at Invertruim near Newtonmore. General George Wade's Military Road between Dunkeld and Inverness was built between 1728-1730 following the Jacobite Uprising and crosses the Truim at Wade Bridge near Dalwhinnie.
