Bridge 184
Bridge 184
Grade II* listed cast iron railway bridge across the River Nene, by Lewis Cubitt for the Great Northern Railway in 1850 and still carrying the East Coast Main Line. Sadly with just the uninspiring name of Bridge 184.
East Coast Main Line
The East Coast Main Line is a 393 mile long high speed electrified railway between London and Edinburgh, via Peterborough, Doncaster, York and Newcastle. It was constructed between 1846 & 1871 by several different rail companies.
