SD2902 : Rubble on a beach

taken 2 years ago, near to Hightown, Sefton, Great Britain

Rubble on a beach
Rubble on a beach
The archeologists with me from Citizan and Council from British Archaeology were quite excited with this. The scaffold poles and fixings are characteristic of the Type Z1 Admiralty Scaffolding anti-tank defences erected at the high tide mark along miles of the coastline during WW2. Of course there are lots of other unrelated pieces of junk and concrete.
