Hyde Park is one of the largest parks in central London and one of the Royal Parks. Hyde Park is 142 hectares (350 acres) and is divided in two by the Serpentine.

Swim Serpentine

The Swim Serpentine is a mass participation open water swim held on the 2012 Olympic course on The Serpentine. The event was first held in 2016. Over 4000 people swim distances of half, one mile or two miles. In 2017 a new event "the super six" was introduced allowing swimmers to swim 6 miles across the day.
