This shows the great spur wheel to the left and an adjoining stone nut. If I recall correctly the bevel and pinion at the bottom right are for an external power source when the wind is not blowing.
Northfield or Shade Windmill

Formerly an eighteenth century drainage smock mill it was moved to the current site around 1834, elevated on a hexagonal brick base and converted to grind corn.
