Railway Bell, Surrey Street
Another well-known Hotel with a Railway-related name - the Railway Bell. Possibly a play on words on the famous train "The Brighton Belle"? Probably this Pub was originated in the days of the old London, Brighton and South Coast Railway Company, later, probably, a part of the Southern Railway Company (after the Grouping into the Big 4, in the 1920's) and then Southern Region of British rail. Now?? Who would know??
