Pedestrian bridge over the Clyde Expressway
Pedestrian bridge over the Clyde Expressway
Seen from Partick Station. The bridge allows pedestrians to cross over the A814 to Castlebank Street on the other side. From the bridge it is just a few minutes walk to Riverside Museum and the Tall Ship, both of which can be seen in the distance.
Riverside Museum, Glasgow :: NS5565

An interesting building, designed by Zaha Hadid Architects, and popular visitor attraction at the confluence of the Rivers Clyde and Kelvin - a replacement, opened in 2011, for a previous Glasgow Museum of Transport in the Kelvin Hall [The original one was in Albert Drive, which opened in the 1960s] LinkExternal link LinkExternal link. There are over 3000 exhibits, mainly transport related and recreated scenes of Glasgow streets and shops in the early 20thC.
