Northbrooke House
Nursing Home on Main Road, Havenstreet. It was built in 1882 by John Rylands, a Lancashire industrialist, as a retirement home, replacing a previous building on the site called Beaulieu House (as seen on the 1863 1:2500 map). He named it Longford House after Lancashire property, Longford Hall.
It later served as a tuberculosis sanatorium and a mental hospital, before becoming Longford Home of Rest, since renamed with its present name, Northbrooke House.
