At the side of Stirling Municipal Buildings NS7993 : Stirling Municipal Buildings is a statue of Henry Campbell-Bannerman. He was the first First Lord of the Treasury to be officially called "Prime Minister", the term only coming into official usage five days after he took office. He also remains the only person to date to hold the positions of Prime Minister and Father of the House at the same time. He was Member of Parliament for Stirling Burghs from 1868 until his death in 1908. The statue by Paul Montford was erected in 1913 and is Category B listed LinkExternal link
