Caretaker's lodge to Dr Johnson's House in Gough Square. Dr Johnson's House (so known in that this is where Dr Johsnon had lived in the mid 18th Century and where he compiled his Dictionary of the English Language) had been bought by Cecil Harmsworth in 1911 and restored under the direction of the architect Alfred Burr, who also added this building to house the curator of the house.
