Derby: The Spot
Derby: The Spot
The junction of London Road (left) and Osmaston Road, photographed on a cloudy day. The clock tower was built in 1993, in Art Deco style to match the nearby public conveniences. It did not last all that long: the area has since been remodelled, as Malcolm Nealís SK3535 : The Spot shows. When I lived in Derby in the 1970s The Money Shop was a branch of Halfords.
