King Street, Cottingham, Yorkshire
By 1902, No.96 King Street was used by the National Telephone Company Ltd. as a telephone exchange. Upon expiry of its licence, the undertaking passed to the General Post Office on 1 January 1912. It subsequently closed in May 1914 when Hull Corporation Telephones became the sole provider, initially in premises across the road. Today, the building is occupied by Eyesite Opticians.
