SK3927 : Church of St Mary, Weston-on-Trent

The church is isolated from the village, but is not close to the one surviving large house in the village, Weston Hall. It consists of aisled nave, chancel, west tower with spire and south porch.
The nave, south aisle and chancel are 13th century Early English, the north aisle 14th century Decorated and the tower and spire largely 15th century. Nave and aisles are enclosed under a continuous low pitch roof, rebuilt in the 19th century, there being no clerestory.
The south porch is 17th century, timber framed, although the western side has been rebuilt at a later stage in brick.
The church is Listed Grade I.
