SX9065 : Observatory beside St Michael's chapel

Observatory beside St Michael's chapel
Observatory beside St Michael's chapel
This isn't as good an image as SX9065 : Limestone arch, Chapel Hill Pleasure Grounds but I'm submitting it because, following John Kelland's information that this was a weather recording station, I had just learned a little more about it from a new information board beside the chapel; that these are the remains of a Victorian Observatory that was used between 1888 and 1902 for meteorological readings.
