SP0886 : North end of Arthur Street, Bordesley

taken 6 years ago, near to Birmingham, England

North end of Arthur Street, Bordesley
Looking towards Coventry Road, with the former Coventry Road bus garage dominating the scene. Originally a tram depot, this former Birmingham City Transport facility was one of several garages closed by West Midlands PTE as it geared up for deregulation in the mid 1980s. It survives in industrial use; others have not been so lucky.
