The Dark Arches – Colour changes - 2
Changing coloured lights in the tunnels carrying the River Aire under Leeds Station. There was plenty of water in the river on this occasion, although the long exposure doesn't show this as well as it might. Other colour changes can be seen here Link Link .

The complex of vaults under the station including the brick tunnels through which the River Aire flows are included in the Listing (Grade II) of the 1930s station concourse.
River Aire

The River Aire is a 71 mile long river in Yorkshire. It rises at Aire Head SD9062 : Aire Head Spring near Malham. It joins the River Ouse at Airmyn.
