NS7491 : Reservoir road, Touch

Reservoir road, Touch
A biggish road climbs up to Touch Reservoir. As is often the case, the Ordnance Survey's refusal to map roads correctly causes problems here. The same symbol is used for a wide built road as a quadbike track of flattened grass. Recently a lot of fictitious roads disappeared from the 1:25,000 map here. There is of course a reliable map available on the Forth Valley Orienteers site's routegadget, but has there has not been a major event here for a while, it is getting on a bit.
Routegadget

Software for marking competitors routes on orienteering maps, often found on club websites. Routegadget allows public access to previously hidden orienteering mapping which are usually the most detailed topographic maps available. Their big drawback for Geograph is that orienteering maps do not have grids. Orienteering is now an urban sport, so top quality town plans are available for many towns and cities.

To look for them search for routegadget and or the local club.
