Inside Torwoodlee Tower
Inside Torwoodlee Tower
Looking south in the remaining part of the tower which dates from 1601; it is thought to have been an L-shaped building, though less than half has survived. In 2015-16 the ruins have been consolidated by stonemasons to prevent further decay and to make the structure safer for visitors to enter.
