Gateway to the former stable yard, Scraptoft Hall
Following the move out of the Hall by De Montfort University, the Hall and its surviving outbuildings have been converted to residential use. The brick piers are included in the Listing of the screen across the front of the Hall LinkExternal link . They date from the early 18th century, although the urns are a later replacement. Originally there were stone pineapples on top of the piers.
