Ford's Hospital
Ford's Hospital is a gem of a building hidden away in the centre of Coventry. It was partially destroyed in the bombing raid in November 1940. This side of the building has been restored in 1951-3, but you would never know, it's impossible to detect the difference between the original and the restored. The building dates from 1509 and is named after William Ford who endowed the building as almshouses. The building is Grade I listed, see: LinkExternal link
