Old Powick Bridge and Mill
Old Powick Bridge is a medieval bridge with late 17th century alterations. This is a historic bridge in that it was near this bridge that the English Civil War began with a skirmish here in September 1642 and ended with the Battle of Worcester on 3 September 1651. Powick Mills can be seen in the background, this former hydro-electricity works dates from 1894 and is Grade II* listed.
