Looking across the River Thames from the Victoria Embankment to the London Eye and the river boat landing stage right below it.

Known as the Millennium Wheel during its construction phase, the London Eye was the world's largest ferris wheel when it was formally opened on 31 December 1999. After initial technical difficulties, the attraction has been operating under its present name since March 2000.
