Hillside on the southern slopes of Druim Ch˛saidh
The view here is of a typical piece of Knoydart hillside - mixed steep grass and rocks - taken from the left bank of a drainage gully. Using either as a descent from the ridge has its disadvantages; the gully was massively loose ('chossy' seems a highly suitable word), whilst the open hillside leaves you constantly coming to small crags, and hence weaving back & forth to circumvent them. Most frustrating.
