Fallen tree, Gelli Ddu/Black Covert
Gelli Ddu/Black Covert is a small patch of forest on the south bank of the Afon Ystwyth, opposite Trawsgoed. A circular path follows the river upstream for a kilometre or so before returning along the other edge of the wood a little further away from the river. The forest has suffered significant wind damage recently, with many trees toppled over and some leaning precariously on their neighbours.
