The present picture shows the southern side (which is the near side in that other view): the line of the enclosure itself can be seen entering diagonally, left of centre, at the bottom edge of the picture, but gradually curving away to the left before being hidden from sight by the vegetation.
This part of the enclosure was, on the day, the part that could most easily be represented photographically.
