"Mystique" is heading left just beyond the moored boat "Pippin". The passenger boat "Gardenia" is heading right, on the right of the photo. "The Rosery" in the foreground had to manoeuvre to avoid both of them as they passed.

The Inland Waterways Association Canalway Cavalcade is held at the early May bank holiday on the Paddington Arm of the Grand Union Canal around Little Venice and Paddington Basin.
