Reflections in Croome River
Reflections in Croome River
The weir at the southern end of Croome River has been repaired after leaking and lowering the levels of this lake for some time. As a result the level of the water is higher. The oak trees on the left and the clouds in the sky are nicely reflected in the water. Croome River and the surrounding parkland was landscaped in the mid-18th century by 'Capability' Brown. Though called Croome River it is actually a serpentine shaped lake.
