View towards the point of Hairy Ness, originally called Hare Point. Above the point is Corn Fort NT9364 : Steps to Weasel Loch, described in the original OS Name Book as "A small rocky promontory on the coast. near which a vessel ledden with corn was wrecked some years ago".
