NC0434 : Rubh' an Dunain

taken 6 years ago, near to Culkein, Highland, Scotland

Rubh' an Dunain
Rubh' an Dunain
The headland to the north of Culkein. There's traces of a small prehistoric fort here - a 'dun', but one could easily miss it. The view is north eastwards where a patch of sunlight catches a corner of Oldany Island, whilst in the distance can be seen the pyramid shaped outline of Ben Stack.
