Speke Hall, Speke, Liverpool
Speke Hall is a rare wattle-and-daub Tudor timber-framed manor house in a woodland setting on the banks of the River Mersey. It is one of the finest surviving examples of its kind. Building began in 1530 though earlier features are incorporated. Speke Hall was restored and brought back to life in the 19th century. It is a Grade I listed building. LinkExternal link
