This Rolls-Royce 20/25 limousine was taking part in the tractor road run staged by Newborough Young Farmers to collect donations for charity. The convoy, which called at several neighbouring villages, is seen here on Peakirk Road just east of Glinton. The 2018 event was staged in support of the East Anglian Air Ambulance and No Gain No Pain U.K. (NGNPUK), a Whittlesey-based charity which raises funds for syringe drivers providing care for patients of 33 surgeries in the Greater Peterborough area.
The vehicle shown in this image was first registered in 1934. Rolls-Royce Ltd. produced a total of 3,827 20/25 cars between 1929 and 1936. The model was equipped with a 6-cylinder, 3,669cc engine capable of a top speed of 76 miles per hour.
