Bromham is a geographically large village in Wiltshire, as included, are six other settlements: St Edith's Marsh, Westbrook, Hawkstreet, Netherstreet, Roughmoor and Chittoe. The main village is 3 miles northwest of Devizes and 6 miles southeast of Chippenham. Always an agricultural village on the fertile flatlands at the foot of the scarp to Roundway Down, Bromham is now the centre of an area of extensive market gardening.
