Taking a break in Cathedral Close
Taking a break in Cathedral Close
The Norwich Cathedral Close is the largest of all such closes in England, an enclosed precinct encompassing 44 acres of ground. It comprises two distinct parts, the Upper Close (a large lawned area), which is accessed by either the Erpingham or Ethelbert gates, and the Lower Close, ending at the River Wensum, Pull's Ferry and the Riverside Walk.
