Farmland near Carnduncan
Farmland near Carnduncan
The rolled field is either grass or spring cereal - possibly the latter, Some cereal crops are rolled to encourage tillering, and to push back into the soil stones that could cause trouble with the combine at harvest. Moorland beyond and, in the distance, the bump is possibly Sgarbh Breac, which overlooks the Sound of Islay about 20km northeast.
