The topiary letter M is one of two representing the 2nd millennium. The garden also has a French style parterre depicting the initials of the present Duke and Duchess of Roxburghe.
Floors Castle :: NT7134
Floors Castle was designed by William Adam and built in 1721 for the first Duke of Roxburghe - it extended an original tower house. It has been altered much over the centuries, in particular to display tapestries and French furniture. It has large grounds running down to the River Tweed.
